Guys, I'm just fitting my new turbo engine for the first time and want to set my engine steadies so nothing bangs against anything on acceleration or overrun. I have a little clearance between the turbo and bulkhead, plenum and bulkhead and remote extension and floor to consider. I don't want solid bushes for the engine steadies, just want to fix the engine in the best place from word go.
Which is worse for the rock of the engine, going on throttle or coming off throttle, and which way does the engine rock for each.
Cheers

hard launches hammer the top steady but i would say the worst is coming off throttle/down shifting hard,
and it leans back towards the bulkhead when accelerating

Yes i moved to the darkside *happy*

I recomend the uprated minispares MPI style bushes, really good, and last too.

Yep in the past it was lifting off which caused the most trouble. Ruined the driving experience, waiting for the engine to rock every time I changed gear. That was with four engine steadies. Tighten them right up and get vibrations instead.
Now I'm going with the remote gear change I should have a far more effective engine steady.
