Great show imho, except for the bastard pod-burn!

Thanks to everyone who was on the stand, made my day.
Nice to meet some new faces.

Anyway, here's some pics.

a great day! but ive sunburnt my face

i managed a quickest time of 14.302 at 95.95mph and a 60ft of 2.332
theres more to come!

started getting my starts sorted, my last run had the best start, then it died on me, came back on and died, whilst rolling i turned the ignition it started again then died

i rolled to a halt-everything was silent

climbed out of the car and was amazed at how sticky the track was when my shoe stuck to it and my foot came out of it.

a truck came along and towed me to the finish, i wondered if the head gasket had gone, but there was no signs of failure, panic set in as i thought this could be expensive

as i locked it up i noticed that the fuel pump was off.....i didnt remember turning that off, hmm so i turned it on and all was well again!!!!!

oops

anyway it was good to meet the guys that were there, still cant quite place everyone to there user names though

Nick, the track was sticky, I have never seen traction like that before. I don't think it will be so easy to leave the line at avon.

I had a good day, I'm glad my cltuch died before avon. Double grey here we come!

Ouch, sounds painful. I got a bit burnt not nearly as bad as you.

I'm banking on avon to give me the kick up the arse I need to get working on my own cars

Its was a quality weekend apart from the burnt face-i thought it was just me that got burnt. Lol

Its convinced me to go to Avon now and hopefully i'll lose my drag strip virginity.
