this may have been asked before, but my search found nothing.

My engine had a cable operated clutch fitted to it. obviously i want to change it to a hydraulic one. I can get the bracket, slave cylinder and plunger off one of my 998 engines to attach onto the clutch housing.

Is this the correct way to do it tho?

There was a considerable difference between the angle of the clutch arm i took off, and the angle of a 998 clutch arm. Will i still get the required amount of movement to change gear?

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

just need to use the correct hydraulic arrangement for which clutch your using.

i.e. std turbo - verto

most upgrage/lightened stuff non-verto setup

Yep, as Iain says, all you need is the hydraulic parts from an appropriate engine.

As the Metro was verto then you'll need a verto slave cylinder and bracket and the endcover with the short arm and correct release bearing.
