Hi all, just a little advice on what kit to buy to rebuild my t3 turbo of which the bearings appear to have sh$t themselves, as the play somewhat resembles a pestal&,,mortar.

I understand that this is a fairly simple task and have already stripped down the turbo ready.

All id like to know, is will this kit be suitable?

I opted for 360 thrust bearings as i understand it should last longer?
If anyone has any better links or info for me, it will be much appreciated, Thanks :)

Low boosting for now.

Thats what i used. And a few hundred miles later its still going strong!! If you take the t3 apart carefully, marking the positions, you can re assemble without the need to have the shaft and wheels reballenced.

Sheffield South Yorkshire GB.

I found when I did mine, the main casting was unusable because the bushes where or are free running on inside and outside diameter, so I had to buy the casting and a kit, and when I looked on eBay to buy parts I found that they do a main casting that has a water jacket for the T3. That I opted for, hope this helps. Alan
