So as iv got some spare time on my hands thought I'd do a bit of getting some of my parts. Now I want to flow the exhaust mani better but when I looked at it the 2 separaters are cracked and have bits broken off. Iv looked at other people examples and there not like this and there flush with mating face. Does this matter? Iv got a dremel at the ready but don't wanna waste my time if its no good. Any help is much appreciated. i got nothing but time.. |

The rest of it looks good actually. No cracks or anything suspicious. Although the turbo it was bolted to had loads of cracks on the exhaust side. So it seems it's got particularly hot at some point, the turbos fudged anyway. Moneys not massively an issue just thought its handy if it was ok but I didn't thinking about more bits breaking off it tbh, i might just have a quick Tickle with the Dremel and Hiw it comes up but I'll most likely try and flog it or scrap it. Cheers guys!! Whilst were on this subject, has many of you had them ceramic coated? As I'm looking into either wrapping it or getting it coated, more towards the coating tbh because it's less faff and looks neater IMO. i got nothing but time.. |
