no resistor required on the metro turbo pump!

But std metty turbo's used one i believe to make the pumps last longer.

It's a strange one that, because the pump states that its 12V on it. (So not a ballest pump)

think they did it to prolong pump life as it was more than happy at the lower voltage, or so im lead to believe |

yes because the pump could suplly about 60 % more fuel then the engine needed so they fitted a ballast resistor to prelong the life.
