didnt know what to put as the subject but basically i noticed on jons car at retro cars that he has cut off the top beam where the bonnet catch is so the engine is a piece of piss to get in/out, is this ok for the mot?

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

Jon's does bolt in and out, although i believe he's used a piece of alloy rather than the original bit of steel. no worries from an mot point of view, no worse than chopping the whole front end off! *happy*

Its just the front bar that the bonnet shuts on, nothing fancy *smiley*

just chop it out. i did one of mine and left about 2" each side for the bonnet to close on. makes getting engines in and out easier as you dont have to lift them as high.
