A litre of unleaded petrol now costs 85.6p and some analysts are warning of further increases to come.

are us ltrs and uk litres the same, as the us gallon is about 4 ltr unlike our 4.54ltrs a good old fashioned gallon. always looking for them bigger bunches of bannanas |

What did surprise me last year )when I went to there to get drunk) was that the petrol in Turkey was almost the same as here. The income in Turkey is approx £150-200 a month whereas it's £1500 in Norway.
