Just noticed the plenum chamber on the engine I bought is fitted upside down? As this engine came from a mini is there any reason for this? Its now going back in a metro Patina=old and knackered and won't clean up |

seen it done once before as a boneidle way to get an intercooler fitted |

That's what I reckon they must have done it for or they hadn't got a clue how to put it back together lol. Patina=old and knackered and won't clean up |

That won't work well. There is a drilling from the carb to the plendidnidum which will be blocked if it is upside down. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:
