Just looking at which fuel filters to use on my turbo set-up, the feed is 8mm and return 10mm and I'm using a carb.

I have one filter fitted between the pressure regulator and the carburettor. I would advise against fitting a filter between the tank and pump as that's what it sounds like you ate considering. Own the day

I would ALWAYS fit a filter between tank and pump!! Any small particals could damage the pump. Plus most fuel pumps will come with a warranty disclaimer in them saying a pre filter must be used. If you are at all worried fit one pre pump and post pump. Most good quality filters wouldnt decrease your flow by a noticeable amount (unless your running like 400hp?!) although i wouldnt purchase that horrible thing from jjc. Which is demon tweeks if you didnt know. |
