Took the turbo scamp to the rollers yesterday and it became apparent that there are a few issues

1. It was far to light to gain enough traction on the rollers , we solved that !

2. When I went for a high power run and upped the boost it just slipped on the clutch , anything over 12 psi and it had no chance , also on the way home when it had done a few miles it was slipping even at 10 psi , spinning the wheels in first and 2nd but slipping the clutch in 3rd and 4th .

There are a number of things I plan to do over the winter , RTS clutch , drill holes in the bell housing to aid cooling .

One thing the garage suggested was a 2 stage boost controller to help put the power down , it running a t3 turbo currently and everything comes in at once .

Has anyone had any experience with 2 stage boost controllers , I want to keep it electronic and also want to be able to have a couple of settings so it can be driven with say 5 - 12psi max but then if you want to embarrass the local boy racers at lights you can change it to 10 - 16 psi . Been looking on eBay and tinternet but can't seem to find anything .

Bleed valve and solenoid valve, as practiced many times on here.

Both cheap and simple to operate.

Set bleed valve to max boost and then have the solenoid valve open its outlet (or put it between the bleed valve and the compressor to actuator line)

With the valve closed you have whatever the actuator is set to and open it and - whoopee !

Could use this in conjunction with the option out on mega jolt if you have it for rpm based boost control

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.
