Is anyone familiar with this setup? I have had it in my car two years now. Ive put the new turbo engine in and now I can't get gears 1 or 3.
I have tried putting the gearbox in 1st and setting from there but by the time it's all connected up it doesn't line up anymore.

Feel like I'm fighting a losing battle. I have RR on sat and need to get some miles under its belt.

Anyone got any ideas or anyone local able to help?
Thanks

when I set mine up I place it 2nd (as this is what KAD tell you to do) and go from there.

I have started posting on Instagram also my name on there is turbomk1golf

Nothing is impossible it just costs more and takes longer.

It sounds like theres not enough tension on the selector shaft, so it's not pulling it far enough back to go into gear. try setting it up in second instead. Or setting it up in first and giving the adjuster an extra half turn to shorten the selector rod.

It's like the rod is too long cause when you push it forward it won't go yet the threads are all the way in I'm sure.

Is the engine tilted further forward anymore than it was before? That will have the same effect as lengthening the selector rod.

It's a possibility however with the turbo on I have no room to move it back
