Hi All,

I spent a lot of time looking, fiddling and thinking about mounting an intercooler up front, can anyone provide and advise or idea's on where I could fit a front mounted intercooler? Any pictures for inspiration would be greatly appreciated!

Photo's below of the engine bay.

not a lot of room! given the quality of the rest of your install, i'd be tempted with a custom cooler.

have you looked at madmk1's install? it is at the other side but may give you some ideas

King Gaycharger, butt plug dealer, Sheldon Cooper and a BAC but generally a niceish fella if you dont mind a northerner

Personally, I would just duct in what you have. Maybe at a hole to the inner wing to vent it out again.

After reviewing MadMk1's install, I'm thinking that's probably the most viable option without ruining the look of the exterior.

Thanks all again for your help. This site is a serious resource

Have a look at sprockets build. He has the cooler inserted into the drivers inner wing.

Sheffield South Yorkshire GB.

This was my sons setup, before he took it to bits again. The intercooler was rapped up because he was working on the front end of the car.

Personally If you can, rotate the plenum 180° so it points out the other way? If so you could then do a front mounted rad with the oil cooler behind, and ducted side mount ic where there will be more room.
