Been rebuilding one of my turbo lumps and waiting 4 my new camshaft so thats as far I can get with that one but ive decided to rebuild another to sell how ever on close inspection I think the block has been resleved and there is a large chunk missing from the bottom of one bore has anybody seen this before? If so is it a problem would I need to get it resleved or would it be ok if the piston dosnt go to the bottom of the bore never seen this before so best ask before I start

Large chunk 4mm or Large chunk 40mm???

Is the chunk on the sides of the block, or next to the crank axis?

You need to help us before we can help you any more TBH.

if you are using the upload at the bottom of the post reply window, you need to be sure that the image file ends in .jpg rather than .JPG

*wink*

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

The block needs to be honed anyway, that will remove the burrs.
