stripped? do u mean just the axlieries?

Turbo included?

solihull west mids.head removed so you can check bores,all stripped ready for clean paint and new gaskets (the safe way to do it)includes
turbo/carb etc.no flywheel or clutch but you would fit new ones anyway,

Ah right. i want a built engine really, dont mind putting manifolds on etc but i aint got time to do clutch etc.

clutch is only a 5min job. its the taking it off thats the 3day job

head is another 5/10mins,

innfact the whole engine together and ready to run (not including putting in the car) possibly an hour or less depending on hour spanner happy you are.

sounds like a bargain to me.

spot on iain,much easier to get it right before it goes into the car.

yep most people learn the hard way would have much prefered my engine to be like this rther than a complete unit, on the rebuild already, plus you can make some better changes while the engine is already out etc

Paul got the engine back to sunny newcastle,
noticed that one of the valve cones was shattered and the seals are all goosed..not that it matters as i would have changed them anyway. managed to check all the mains and big ends which are all ok, just a case of getting that phase 2 cam you were talking about and a gear box, and off i go !
