Ok so I'm about to pull my engine out to change the inlet manifold and have a general spruce up under the bonnet. I intend on fitting some new gauges to keep a check on things, I currently only have oil pressure and water temp. I was thinking of adding an AFM, a fuel pressure gauge, boost gauge and volt meter. I was thinking of mounting them in two stacks of three. The problem I have is the dashboard is wood which I don't really like but I have a full roll cage which will make it almost impossible to remove. I was thinking of trimming it in leather look cloth with spray adhesive with the dash in place or possibly spraying it. Any ideas?

Don't use contact adhesive. The stuff I used melted in the heat and all the trim fell off. If its wood. Staple it on?
