Ok so I'm about to pull my engine out to change the inlet manifold and have a general spruce up under the bonnet. I intend on fitting some new gauges to keep a check on things, I currently only have oil pressure and water temp. I was thinking of adding an AFM, a fuel pressure gauge, boost gauge and volt meter. I was thinking of mounting them in two stacks of three. The problem I have is the dashboard is wood which I don't really like but I have a full roll cage which will make it almost impossible to remove. I was thinking of trimming it in leather look cloth with spray adhesive with the dash in place or possibly spraying it. Any ideas? |

What id do is cut each side just inside the cage take the lot out retrim it all in what you want and fix the parts behind the cage permanent then do what you wabt with the large center part |

Don't use contact adhesive. The stuff I used melted in the heat and all the trim fell off. If its wood. Staple it on? |
