Another question - apologies. I have searched this but i couldnt find exactly what i need.

I am going to use the minispares alloy 2 core side mounted rad with plastic fan and hopefully an electric 6.5" fan on the other side.

Having had previous bad experiences of mounting a 9" fan inside the wing (it actually blocked air Movement over about 30mph).
I want to fit a smaller electric fan straight onto the outside of the rad - hence modifying the inner wing. By doing so, am i effecting body strength? I am planning on just cutting the grilles out to allow a little more airflow and room to squeeze the fan into place. Im not going mad and cutting the whole panel out, just literally cutting the rectangle where the grille is.

Cheers!

Cut what you need out. Shouldn't cause any issues.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.
