So I want to keep my clutch nice and cool and am playing with the idea of drilling the WOK out but can't find many images , I know there are lots of people who have done this so was looking for some tips and tricks and possibly some pictures to help me with ideas / layout of holes .

Cheers *happy*

Search for "drilled clutch cover mini" on google. Plenty of inspiration there.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

I have always wondered if you do this how do you stop stuff getting in, stones, rain water, the odd squirrel...

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

but then if something does get in it wont come out. If you drilled the bottom if something did manage to get in it has a better chance of getting out *wink*

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Those larger holes are a good lost bolt or washer trap. Maybe even a spanner *happy*

Mine has a load of 6mm holes in the bottom half.

Mini os drilled no problem with water what so ever. Even drive trough ford with it

you can do anything if you set your mind to it...
i rather blow it up winning than keep it together losing.

finish date set for project 1... march 2018

Out of curiosity, has anyone had a primary gear bush weld to crank or gear before making the mod?
