Should the pinion on the rack move in and out when you go from lock to lock ?

There shouldn't be any in out movement.

Ditch the rack rick, its goosed and not worth messing about with, their cheap as chips from minispares new!

Mr austin has said its ok. For some reason now its been in bits its not going in and out but still notchy.
