hey, i know most people in the world dont know wot a Torana or a commodore is because they are Holdens and are only made in Aus so i was wondering how many n what type of cars there are that i dont know about, i dont know what a cossie is but i hear about them a lot on this site, what other popular cars are there that i wouldnt know about seems im in Australia?
If you wont to hav a search for sum popular australian cars i'd recomend

Holden- Torana, commodore, monaro, clubsport, VL calais

Ford- falcon, XB, XC, GTHO

Datsun- 1600, 1200

i'v wont'd to ask this for ages, just a sugestion of a car i should look up would b good, thanks.

a cossie can either be a Ford Sierra cosworth or a ford escort cosworth.

i had a look, dont like the shape of it much but sounds pritty quick, any popular V8's over there?

Not really mate, only really found in 4x4 off roaders.

There are a couple in fast road cars, try looking for TVR Cerbera or TVR Griffith. We have also had recently released a thing called a Vauxhall Monaro which I believe is based on a Holden? Also have a look for Aston Martin Vanquish.

Very popular over here are things known as "hot hatches" being small 3 door hatchbacks fitted with powerful large (for here) engines e.g. 1.8 or 2.0 litres.

Honda Civic Type R
Renault Clio 182
Ford Focus RS

That should keep you busy on google for a while.

I know what a Torana is! I own one. One of only 2 in the UK (the other is in Scotland).

V8s are practically non existant over here except those listed above.
