So im working all day long on my sisters mini wich was a bare shell resto.. do e the whole electric beforz painting. . The idiot painter moved some cables around for masking them upp... so done the whole crap again today . Everything works exept the ignition. .. problem is that the car did not have a wire to the coil so placed a new one (still habe to put a resistant wire to it so running on 12 v instead of 9 now... ) but can't get a spark. The car just gives a puff of smoke out the carb when i stopped cranking the engine. So checked the spark plugs. .. nothing! Exept one spark the second i stop cranking. .. over and over again. What do you guys thinck? Its a mk 2 doucelier redtop delco with (thingy that opens and closes as the delco turns) so.. standard oldschool ignition. ..
you can do anything if you set your mind to it...

Tought so to but failed to look really. .. did choose a other connection on the fusebox(the one who gets power when the lights are on. Most below) but then the engine would no longer turn over. ... will be looking what connection keeps getting power.. you can do anything if you set your mind to it...

Yep thats the idea for tomorrow. .. did just found out some more fucks with the wiring to... but now i just want to spend the rest off the day saying yes to tje misses on questions i did not even hear and welding in new tower shock mounting points in my litle rust bucket. .. do you have a idea how much restriction the ballast restricter should have? Can't seem to find it anywhere but would like to weld one in or should i just pop in a 12 v coil? you can do anything if you set your mind to it...
