Driving home from t'mill earlier. Had what looked like smoke coming out of the central air vents. Once I had unclenched, I had a feel. Very cool to the 'touch', no odour and the metal bits on the vents where ice cold. Temperature outside was about 31, in the car about 22 degrees. A quick under bonnet check reveals I'm not on fire. Had a quick google and turned up this:

I don't have a fishy pong (in the car...), so am discounting the heater matrix for now. Does condensation type stuff seem viable?

Seen it loads of times when I've been to Turkey. Especially when boarding plane to come home.

Its a hot and humid day today, your air con is obviously working well enough to condense some of the moisture in the air to water vapour which is what you are seeing. Don't worry about it, if anything it just means your air con is working well so bonus!
