I'm replacing he crank seal on the clutch side, I've got the housing off and the seal is inplace

Oil the seal well, take the primary gear off, push it inside the seal first then assemble them both at once works best for me. Spinning the gear as you push it in helps too. Edited by Carlzilla on 4th Aug, 2013. On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:
