awrite, i wondered if any can help me thers a head turbo carb off a metro turbo on ebay , i have a 1275 carb and i wondered if this is all i need to turbo it at low bost until i tune the engine , the engine is standard except the hif44 carb, i khow i will need to run a new fuel line and fuel pump also thers no ecu so i will need 2 wire it to cum on manulay? i got a wireing diagram from a website and how to wire the cooling system in also need a bulkhead conversion any helpwould be great as this item finishes in an hour thanks heres the link http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

You're pretty much right in what you say. You will definately need to keep the boost RIGHT DOWN with the standard pistons or else you will quickly run into detonation that WILL melt the pistons. A way round this is to have the head modified before you fit it to decrease the compression ratio.
The Metro ECU is a waste of time, junk it.

Have a good read through past posts in this forum and you will find out all you need to know.

cheers but if u go to the link is tht everything mainly i need beacuase wasnt wanting 2 buy it then be missing odd parts iv had a good look threw and got plenty info but no wot parts i need

you'll also need:
turbo oil feed
oil return plate for the block
turbo dizzy
pressure reg
fuel pump etc

cheers howmuch roughtly u think they bits will cost jst running it low boost
