MPI STalks on a non MPI

as the title says im after fitting MPI stalks to a non injection loom, has anyone tried it and if so what did you do. Also is the mpi stalk the same as the MGF and Rover 100.

yeh i did this by creating my own custom loom, worked great only downside is the stalks must be used with the mpi column and wheel bosses are more expensive

Can be made to fit a non mpi column quite easily

buety, guess its just a case of transposing the wiring from the switch to the column instead

Yes did this years ago, the wiring diagrams from haynes are a good start i had issues with the wipers though so i ended up with 2 slow speeds and a fast

MG stalks are largely the same as MPI ones although they have a added rotary switch on the right hand stalk for rear screen wash/wipe.

I'll be using MG stalks on my estate and will set-up the sprung return on the rotary switch as my horn and leave the other possessions on it dormant.

Tbh i thought they were the same, mine are as you described so maybe mine are mg ones... some civics have them too
