Took the mini to a RR today

the morning did not start well tried to drive car onto trailer and it would notlet me put it in gear, somehow its decided to get air in the slave cylinder, bleed it out all seems fine

got to the Rr and i took car off trailer, two chaps from the RR pushed my car back to move it and crunched the bootlid into another car denting my bootlid

got onto RR started it up did a run and then could not get gears again, looks like slave cylinder has gone kaput totally, then had this almighty grinding noise like clashing of gears coming from the clutch cover?

still chap said he would set the carb up so what happened? yep the regulator went sending unpressurised fuel into the carb and then it coming out every orifice

so now i need to get a regulator damn quick fit a new slave cylinder and find out whats wrong with this grinding noise *frown*im fed up with the car already

sitting around in your garage does nothing for the car i tell you

All parts just supplied incl a spare gearbox,plenty of time to sort it*tongue*
