The main difference is the Escort one has an exhaust housing A/R of 0.36 compared to the Metro's 0.25 (although a reconditioned Metro one might also be 0.36 as the 0.25 housings have been NLA for a long time).
Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ??? |

Don't mind a bit of lag as long as you get a kick in the back after. Lol. Thanks for that as I have a good rs turbo I can use. Flat oot like a dukes fit! |

It wont go straight on. You need to use the metro wastegate, and possibly clock the unit so that the oil drain sits in the correct position. You also have to use the metro downpipe elbow and make an actuator bracket. I also had to modify the wastegate pin to get the actuator rod it fit it properly. Many thanks |

The escort turbo also has a larger compressor wheel so the escort compressor cover needs to be used |

Why can't you use the escort wastegate/ turbine housing and elbow? I was just thinking of getting a exhaust made to fit the rs elbow. Flat oot like a dukes fit! |

That would work. You still may need to clock the turbo to ensure the oil feed/drain orientation if acceptable. If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

from the top of my head the wastgate /downpipe elbow are integral to eachother on the rs spec t3. if you try to use this the downpipe will be sticking through the bonnet. cheers, dan |
