hey all, i know most of you are all at avon but someone might see this! ive finaly got my clubby finished(ish) and the engine seems to be running pretty nice, but looking at my boost gauge its gone a bit tits up. on idle its reading right at the bottom of the negative bar, with some load on its about3/4 of the way down and on boost its barely touching equal pressure? it never gets onto the positive section? ive got it reading off the inlet manifold. i tapped out the servo take off and ran it into that, but im guessing i must have gone wrong somewhere? any help would be most apreciated!
got to say im loving this turbo tho *happy* well worth the effort!

i had the same thing and all i did was T into the pipe going into the plenum and it tells me what boost but doesn't tell you the negative but why you need that lol

idaely you need touse it from the inlet and not the plenum, as like me i had a problem with the fueling this shows up on the gauge when you are cruising, as you should have a vacuum and not slight boost like i had but the r road soon sorted this out.

but check all your pipes are fitted correctly, if you have a laek in the balance pipe you wont get boost.

i take it you tried this whilst driving.

but i recon its your actuator hasnt got enough preload on it a quick test is to clamp the acuator pipe and the take it for a spin if you get boost then there is your problem.

always looking for them bigger bunches of bannanas

cheers i'll check all the pipes, im pretty sure its boosting ok because its very noticable when the turbo kicks in but just not showing it on the gauge :S,

its only running standard boost at the moment because i dont want to mess with the bleed valve if i cant see what its bosting too. i'll have another check and make sure everythings tight
cheers
steve.
