Well I'm back from avon... its a shame I am working sunday but at least you guys get an update!

1st - Theres a lot of turbo minis running and putting in some very good time!

I broke my pb by 1.2 seconds! The black mini now runs 14.69 @ 91 mph!!!!! My best reaction was a 0.103 seconds!!!!

I saw JF do a 13.9... jimster's running at about 14.3....

I know matt woods was running very well to, but I cant remember his time!

i spoke to mat on the dog and bone i think he has ran a 13.6 on 109.5 mph terminal.

always looking for them bigger bunches of bannanas

i ran a 16.1

was my first time and i was dogged by clutch probs

obviously looking to improve on that

i ran a 15.7 twice...been grinning like a wanking jap ever since

was also the first time ive run down the strip with my turbo, took about 4 runs this morning to get used to launching and how long 1st is on a s/c box. kinda got the hang of it now i think. just pleased that my times have been consistent though.

Ran 4x 16.8's @ 8psi, then knocked the timing back a bit as it was pinking over 8psi. then ran it at 12psi and got a 15.9 and 2x 15.7's.

i know they're not the quickest by far but i enjoyed meself and have definately got the bug for it now

top weekend... well, sunday anyway, was at work saturday, managed to get 5 runs in, best time was 16.2 which isnt that great i know but not running much power yet, waiting to fit intercooler before i up the boost, got good reaction times tho, best was 2.6, not bad for my first time drag racing!

beat that bloody wide arch corsa up the strip anyway, he wasnt happy was also this close to beating an mr2 but clutch was slipping, thats when i called it a day

and thanks to whoever it was trying to give me a flyer for the site lol

Ryan, That was me trying to give you a flyer. You should feel honoured, as i was properly hung-over at the time, and the thought of walking anywhere was worse than a nightmare.. lol!

I can definately vouch for the state Alex was in. I also have some interesting video footage but I'll save that for a later date.

As I haven't got a working Mini and my (cough) Peugeot (cough) was on the trailer from Cadwell Park I fetched it along, managed a 15.1 run at my second attempt on Saturday afternoon.

Good to meet a lot of people that are on the board, nice to put faces to names.

Oh and apologies to anyone that was disappointed that I don't look like my avatar in real life.......

I'll let you decided for yourselves which is better!

Even though it did limit the boost i could run, its safer for now though!

Only managed to get 3 runs in 1st run was 17.7 @ 4psi

The next 2 runs were at 6psi and i got a 16.3 @ 85mph

looking at my time sheets it looks like my launches are......erm shite, at least ive lost my quarter mile V's now.

Should be able to run 12psi again once the carbs re-adjusted for the intercooler, im heading straight up to RWYB in the next few weeks.

thanks for making me welcome at ur camp spot people, nice to put faces to names. u lot have some quick minis, thats only in the back of my mind at the mo.

i was getting 2.3 60ft at pod, but at avon with my eventually improved start technique the quickest i managed was a 2.4
