Yo.

I want to ditch the horrid servo on my car and replace it with the older-style Cooper S cylinder.

I presume I need the cylinder (obviously), then a t-peice and a few bits of brake line, and a few 'ends' of brake line?

Anyone know if I need anything else, or even better, know what exact parts I'll need to do the job?

Ta :)

i looked into this a few years ago but didn't bother. think you have to change the pedal box to a non servo one.

As above disk braked non servo pedal box and you'll need a rear brake pressure bias valve.

You dont need to change the whole pedal box - just the brake pedal as the clevis pin hole is bigger, or you can just weld up the hole and drill a new one the right size then all you need is the new cylinder, the shaped plate underneath it which connects to the engine tie bar and the bias valve

I seriously doubt it!

You'll also need the spring as the servo one is only for the clutch. Another bit people forget is the bracket for the engine steady, you'll need one if those too

Its much easier to get hold of a pedal box complete though.

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Doesn't really sound too bad considering the huge amount of engine bay space you get back.

any idea on the brake pipe and fittings?
