hey guys ive been on the site for a while and was planning on building a 998 turbo a while ago but that crashed an burned and i ended up building a 1275 fast road motor making 73bhp at the wheels , no ive been doing abit of searching around and decided i fancy building a turbo motor over a period of time, now ive decided on a rough spec but i was wondering if anybody would have any advice on it and and any parts that ive missed, as far as ive got here it go's

Cylinder head
-36mm inlets 29mm ex (already got a stage 3 head would need to make the cambers bigger)
-stainless valves
-drilled for 11 studs
-payen bk450

Block
-bored 1293
-new cam bearings
-centre main strap
-drilled and and tapped for 11 studs
-new oilway and core plugs
-turbo oil pump

Pistons
-omega with the correct dish to give me 8.5 cr combined with the head chambers

Cam
-mg metro
-piper phase 2 (possibly?)

Timing gear
-med camshaft gear drive ( or duplex chain and sprockets depending funds)

Clutch + flywheels
-med ST1 ultralight assembley
-grey diphram

Gearbox
-evolution lsd 50/9 road (minispares)
-Sc gear set a plus 4 syncro ( minispares )
-Sc drops ( will they be needed ) ?

Megajolt ignition
Largest intercooler I can fit
Will be using a 44n/a converted to turbo
Oil cooler
Turbo –not to sure what to use
Manifolds – probably will be home made
Facet fuel pump
Fuel regulator

Facet fuel pump is no good, you need a high pressure injection pump. plus make sure it's a turbo fuel regulator.

Fit an oil pressure gauge before you fit an oil cooler. Make sure you actually need one.

There is a bit of debate about the need for the centre main strap on a turbo motor. I'd also consider the verto rts clutch over the pre-verto

cheers for the replys guys , my intentions were to buy this http://www.med-engineering.co.uk/bespoke-p...pe-r-engine-kit as this will take car of most of the stuff
