Each to their own of course I'm just more interested in the money side of it. You could get a damn nice mini for less than 14k esp with a standard engine! They don't die, they just get faster! |

How can folks call a mini custom, when they don't even make a unique door trim. I've seen some very nice custom ones on real show minis that include the speaker housing, door pull and pocket - all made from scratch and 100% unique.

I can't see how they would manage to rack up a bill that big, the pain probs cost a few thousand, the electric rubbish a few more then the interior. I'd have thought they had spent about 10k on it more than 35 They don't die, they just get faster! |

I reckon I have spent close to £10k on mine, but that includes a full engine/box rebuild, gay charger, efi and me doing 90% of the work. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

Well with Shauna's mini it had a new front panel, two a panels, door and step repairs, drivers door hinge panel, repairs to the passengers, and some stuff in the boot floor, with prep and paint (albeit not the greatest but it was rushed) and that was a grand. And that work wasn't done by us, I can see where £35k can come from in some cars, but not this one. On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:
