hey guys , i was wondering what the spring is for under the intake for the plenum ? also can a new pipe be made up for the plenum to replace the existing rather than having 2 pieces welded together i was thinking of making a flange with quite a long pipe on it to wrap around the dash pot and head over to the clutch side of the engine bay

The only spring in the plenum is the over boost valve. Most people just block it off.

Yes. You can make a replacement for the 'gonzo nose' piece. You could also make the flange large enough to cover the overboost valve. In the 13's at last!.. Just |
