Hi guys anyone running one of these? Just after some more space up front and this is the cheapest high torque one I can find.

Have a look on the last 2 pages of riches build there is a fairly good one there. From looking round they don't seem to protrude any further forward than the alloy castings

i think your mostly limited by the wok housing where you mount the starter as far as front to back distance is concerned so only gain i see is in length and weight?

That looks very much like a Brise starter motor, and made in the UK.

Just be sure that the one you buy is not the one as pictured as it likes like the solenoid sits much like the standard pre engaged one does. The starter I have is very similar but has the solenoid slung underneath and out the way.

MED sell one very similar to those in the UK.

Just order a brise one it's a top bit of kit.

I have started posting on Instagram also my name on there is turbomk1golf

Nothing is impossible it just costs more and takes longer.

yes mate, I have a real brise one mate, you can rotate the flange so it will not hit the rad.

The one at the top is the one I have.
