Don't skimp on tools and get a minispares puller.

i struggled getting the clutch off on mine, i ended up having to use a combo of a puller and blow torch to warm it up but it was a lot easier as i had the engine out the car

Welcome to TM Steve

As Benross has commented, more info would be useful.

I've no idea of your level of expertise so I'll start from the beginning;

1) removed the centre bolt and key washer?
2) using a correct flywheel puller?
3) applied any heat to the flywheel?

this is pretty common; it would be worth doing a search to see how others have managed it.

one thing that helped me was to make up a locking tool for the flywheel; this bolts into the starter motor mounts and stops the flywheel rotating leaving both hands free to concentrate on removal

Many people forget the key washer, also I use old main bearings for locking the flywheel, works a treat.

A long breaker bar, if needs be leave the puller on over night and you may find by morning it has eased.

That method works, had one ultra stubborn one so left it overnight, then used a little heat and it popped off

I thought the accepted technique was to wind the puller up as tight as you dare then hit the thing hard with a BFO hammer?

what i tend to do is tighten the centre bolt on the puller to within an inch of its life then gently warm it with a blow torch between the puller and flywheel and it pops off on one occasion it took half the crank with it but that had spun already

Yes i moved to the darkside *happy*
