Here's what I did...... I used the generic remote reservoir master cylinders as the wastegate actuator was hitting the standard clutch master cylinder plastic reservoir, and the tandem master cylinder was getting in the way of the boost pipe.

You could mount these reservoirs any other place out the way. Like I said before, there isn't much difference between the dual circuit or the single circuit as all the braking is on the front, so if you still only lost the front circuit, the rear is doing pretty much nothing anyway.

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Bit of a struggle but it worked! Can't see any reason why it can't work like this once I do new brake lines

That's interesting! I swear blind when I tried it that the brake master fouled the clutch master, but it was three years ago and a lots happened since. Something deffo didn't work for me, but I still have the original bulkhead.

Looks like it'll work. Easy fix!

I always found fitting the clutch master cylinder lid fiddly, it always ends up down the back a few times before it goes on. This will fix that also!

Yup. Avoided the dreaded pins job!!! Was on the limit of travel to clear the locating bolts but both made it. I think all the hard lines should fit without making new ones too *smiley*

Few updates to report:

Have fitted a new pull fan behind the rad, removed alternator and replaced the mechanical water pump with an electric version. Also pressure tested the plenum and it was leaking like a sieve, so have fixed that and given it a lick of paint. I've also managed to squeeze an air filter and cold air vent in, which i need to finish..

Unfortunately, i think ive killed by TMAP sensor when i water tested the plenum as its now reading 200mbar at idle..

Still a fair bit to do before racing again this weekend but im hoping the new changes will make a big difference, the wee pump will be up to the job and my 900g battery will last for each run!

Love the thread. Spent the last couple of days reading it while "working."

have you had it on a RR since the IC swap on all the re routing of plumbing?

*smiley*. I've spent more than a few days constructing the thread while "working".

I havent had it back to the RR yet. Will do that in the new year if i ever get round to making a tubular subframe.. It was also mapped with very conservative timing, which ive tweaked a little, so should be well over 200 now.
