Since fitting my intercooler its not been idleing the same is this a common problem?

im not sure wether to adjust the idle screw or if i need to adjust the mixture a little compensate for the denser air going in.

The timing is also quite retarded so it might be possible to advance it now its intercooled?

Is the carb set up in the haynes manual any use as the engine is standard?
Any ideas as im not sure where the best place is to start?

Apologies for the many questions im just keen to get it running better so i get some track day practice in for next year.*happy*

Problem sorted...*happy*

A jubilee had a burr and has split my boost hose, on the way home from Avon it was getting worse/bigger!

Now running sweet at 12psi no pinking/overheating just a load of torque steer. Bit late now though..*frown*

Yeah i know it does, it was hard to keep it running by the time i got back from Avon.

At least its drivable now so i can get it somewhere.
