Hi guys iv searched the forums and not been able to find anything. Is there a trick im missing with removing the brake servo. One of the bolts has sheared on the bulkhead but it doesnt seem like its affecting it. Do i need to remove the pedal box before getting the servo off? Thanks in advance

Have you removed the clevis pin through the pedal?

Yes mate iv removed that removed the bolt thats on the back of the dash and like i said the one on the bulkhead has sheared but it doesnt seem to be obstructing it. The bulkhead is in a bit of a state around that area im thinking maybe its not been removed for a looooong time and its just being awkward. Do i need to remove the pedals and pedal box?

No. You just need to remove the Clevis pin at the back, the top bolt on the bulkhead and the two on the crossmember. The studs are part of the pedal box, so that will have to come out if you've broken one.

Remove the master cylinders (brake and clutch) after removing both clevis pins from inside the car, undo the bolt on the bulkhead and it should all pull up and off easily. After typing that I'm not sure if you have to remove the clutch master, disregard it if none of it is bolted to the servo bracket!

The clutch master doesn't need to be removed to get the servo out.

It's been a few months since i last took one out but I was also taking everything out because i was stripping one down for blasting for a mate, so there you go, pretty simple!

which servo have you got? if it is the late model one, you only need to disconnect the control arm from the brake pedal in the lever above the bulkhead - I'm pretty sure the other end of this control rod is riveted to the brake pedal anyway so no clevis pin inside the car. There is a nut and bolt going through the bulkhead (behind the dash as you mentioned), and it is bolted down to the pedal box with 2 nuts (next to the clutch master). You mentioned one bolt shearing but not removing a second?

disconnect the brake pipes and lift out.
