I am going to drill the front of an mpi head to fit a temperature sender. Can anyone tell me the size and thread (tap size) to fit a standard temp. sender. Has anyone done this before? Any problems? Cheers Steve

It's a 5/8" UNF parallel thread.

BUT, it has tapered seat that the sensors seals onto. Difficult to replicate.

Bearing fit it in.... or the forgiving type stud lock. Shake proof.
