looking for one of these in useable condition

33 tooth straight cut - mine is marked A49 - dont know if this is important.

gear looks to be the same in both SC and helical boxes.

anyone got a U/S 5-speed they're willing to sell the part from?

the JK 4 speed reverse is the same as the mini spares centre straight cut reverse, and could well be a standard part

Have you tried calling Jack Knight out of interest. Despite rumours over the past few years that they have shut down, I have been able to call them and get new parts sent out on 3 occasions.
(Although I haven't tried recently I must add)
