I have had a look around but not found anything that helpful. I have some carbon sheet and two different designs I want tomake out of it, cutting is fine but I dont know how to bond them together *happy*. Any tips would be awsome

First abrade with p120. Then a scotchbrite pad.
Then degrease thoroughly with acetone.

Apply some resin or similar to the area to be joined, add dry cloth, then more resin.

Jobbed

Alternatively, if you have access to bagging film or release film.

Put a layer of dry cloth over the bagging film, add resin, then another piece of dry cloth.

Fold the bagging film over to create an envelope. You can then 'squeegee' the resin around to create what is essentially 'prepreg'.

Cut out to Desired shape, remove one side of the film, and apply to joint. Then remove other side of film.

This way is much more accurate, and normally stops you getting into a sticky mess.

Cheers steve, I have some fg to play with so sounds like a plan, I was going to try and keep it clean at the front and do all the back work at the back (tape and clear silicone seel the front so it can be wet layed on the back) I have all the correct dimensions and just a little bit of masking tape its very rigid to fg onto.

I have some ptfe tape here that will do the job better than the silicone and tape.

I'm sure I can find some 9323 and carbon cloth if I have a hunt around.........
