Could anybody please tell me if a DAM3220 A gearbox fit on a 998 A+ engine, and does this require any special parts?

As long as you have the matching transfer case then gearboxes and engines are interchangeable with each other :) On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:

well there are the different idler bearing diameters, A and A+... and the different primarys for 998 and 1275, although you can bush the 1275 primary down to fit the 998 crank...

The primary are missing, along with some other parts. I am trying to make a list of missing parts atm www.shag.no |

There is a thick wall bearing available to reduce the diameter of an A+ transfer case to pre-A+ size to match the gearbox. Metric is for people who can't do fractions. |

The drop gears are from minispares, but I can only find to 1275 sc.
