Chaps, been looking at some shocks for the rear. I have Gaz ones on front so I'll stick the same on the back... I see that Gaz do a standard height & a lowered height shock, as I've tubbed my rear arches is it pointless getting the standard height ones, will they not lower enough?

It really depend how low you have the car. The shorter dampers really only stop the suspension faling apart at full droop. They don't let you lower the car any more than the standard length dampers. Basicaly the damper still bottoms out before the wheel will touch the wheel well when tubbed. On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:
