Hi peeps,

I have a problem with my megajolt. It reads the generic 1293 turbo map fine but it is not allowing myself to change the cell value without reverting back to the original cell value.
I have had it at the rolling road today to get remapped but because the values can not be changed within the map I didnt get anywhere. Is there a problem with the megajolt ecu??
Help its really driving me mad!!!*oh well*

Is it that it's not letting you type the changes in or that your changes aren't being saved?

I can change the value but nothing happens as I'm doing this as I believed that you could work on the maps live? Also once the new value has been input into the cell and enter pressed on the laptop it reverts straight back to the original cell value?

Have you clicked the "get ign config" button at the top of the page before changing the values?

These ones?

If you click the button the megajolt software will read the map currently saved to the box. Once this is open you should be able to edit it real time and once you have finished editing click the button to commit the changes to the box's memory

Then as it's loading up the current map fine it doesn't sound like you have any connection issues, any error messages?

Also, are you writing the map () to the box before committing it to flash?

There are no connection errors. I havnt tried written the map to the box. Just straight to flash i think. I have had to leave my car at the rollers this weekend as the engineer says he has a friend of a friend who is good on megajolt? I will let him know on Monday the feed back I have received on the forum. Thanks for all your help guys. I will let you know if I sort this problem out :)

That'll be why the changes aren't being saved then, writing the map to the box commits it to its temporary memory, which you must do before flashing it to it's permanent memory. Or at least that's what I gathered from the MJ operation guide, and what i've been doing on mine.

You have to upload the changes and then flash it

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

Thanks for everyone's help on this matter. All sorted now thanks. Turns out you can't work on the map live without saving the new cell value first. Now I have another slight issue of under fueling on boost! Maybe the carb needle needs to be re profiled?? Oh well that's the nature of the beast I suppose when you start to modify engines
Thanks again
