Its not really turbooriented so I put it here :)

Yesterday I picked up my new daily driver, a -72 Morris 1300. I drove it from Bergen, its about 600 km and it worked great exept a aftermarkey fuel pump.

The question is really about he engine. I have a Sw22 cam and a MED head with 22,3 cc chambers in the garage. Would this be a good solution on a otherwise standard engine? Can anybody tell me what compression I will get with this head? What kind of carb is best for this aplication?

Edit: made my questions more presice

There is no way to determine the CR unless you take the existing head off, but as regular heads are 21,4cc, you'll lower the compression....Not exactly a good thing when fitting a SW22....
That camshaft needs at least 11:1 and the std 1300 pistons will not take that.

Love the car btw, do you want another one? *wink*

Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem.

A true classic, although it did immediately remind me of another British classic....

Should it not be possible to calculate the CR when you know the original cc of the head and the new??
You did tell me what I wanted to know about the original cc, and that's a no-go with the head/cam/engine combo. It's not what I wanted to hear, but now I know it's for no use to take the job with changing heads and cams :)

Another one? I know we have talked about it. But you are also trying to sell me a green car *wink*

Rod: it's inside a very long tunnel, almost 30 km long. They have 3 resting areas with blue light, just to get the drivers out of coma *wink*
