Hi. Just got fed up removing the grill again to set the breaker points on the 998... i have a later electronic one laying around. .. (the one with the small black box on the side of it) from a 1992 1275cc.

The coil is already running on 12v so what else needs to been done ( i know i need to connect a wire to that black box but do not know what wire and on wich of the 3 connectors.

i rather blow it up winning than keep it together losing.

Done now needs redoing lol

Yeah, just replaces the points with a little module. Fit and forget!

you only need 2 of the connectors.
1. + on the coil
2 - on the coil

i'll check the lead on mine to verify which two pins.

Have seen that module. Looks great system by the way. But i have that delco laying around. .. and that module would take me 2 weeks to get my hands on 1.... but have been thinking of doing that on my sisters mini because the ride with a ducelier now. They want to keep the looks of it but not the maintenance.
