Looking into buying a carcoon cover for my mini, just wondering has anyone on here any experience with them?

I've looked into them before, not with the intention of buying one, but in my opinion: looks like a waste of electricity and a massive pain in the arse to get the car in and out of, and look ridiculous. I'd rather just invest in a good quality car cover myself!

i build a few boxes ones made out of plywood ( layers ) with insulation inbetween. then i hooked up a dryer on the boxes wich also kept the temprature inside the boxes on 15 degrees c. (humidetie was about 20 % )

it was to store 2 old jaguars in. always tought on making some for myselve 2.

you can do anything if you set your mind to it...
i rather blow it up winning than keep it together losing.

finish date set for project 1... march 2018

Red herring as far as I am concerned. Is it not a case of a good salesman can sell anything? For example, the salesman will tell you all the bad things that will happen to your car if you don't use one and rave about all the benefits of using one. What they don't tell you is that people have been storing cars without them for years, and they never have a problem.

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...
