Looking into buying a carcoon cover for my mini, just wondering has anyone on here any experience with them? more speed 1293 turbo mini-180bhp 171tourque@15psi

I've looked into them before, not with the intention of buying one, but in my opinion: looks like a waste of electricity and a massive pain in the arse to get the car in and out of, and look ridiculous. I'd rather just invest in a good quality car cover myself! On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:

i build a few boxes ones made out of plywood ( layers ) with insulation inbetween. then i hooked up a dryer on the boxes wich also kept the temprature inside the boxes on 15 degrees c. (humidetie was about 20 % )
you can do anything if you set your mind to it...

Red herring as far as I am concerned. Is it not a case of a good salesman can sell anything? For example, the salesman will tell you all the bad things that will happen to your car if you don't use one and rave about all the benefits of using one.
