I have one as per the link below

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Quick-Release-Sn...=item565c7b8808

It's ok for what it is, looks nice etc but there is a very small amount of slack in it, not much though! If you was getting one that style i'd consider getting a genuine Lifeline one though as it feels better quality with less movement.

i see classic case of you get what you pay for then

i wonder if there is a kit that fits straight onto the mini column splines without the use of a boss if you know what im talking about??

Your best bet for that would be to get either a weld on quick release boss, or one like in that link and "trim" the black section (as it is steel) so that it can be welded on to the column.

The one from the group buy on here was awesome mine is from mcgill motorsport and gives a very positive feel (no slop at all something that put me off them for years) but it can be really difficult to get back on
The one from the gb you plonked it on and spun it till it locked job done
I dont think I have seen one ready to fit on a mini column

Yes i moved to the darkside *happy*

This was the old group buy kit, haven't used mine yet but it feels exceptionally well built. http://www.9ktuning.com/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=982
