Okay, so searching 'wheel geometry' and 'steering geometry' didn't throw anything up so I thought I'd ask!
I've got a pretty decent commute these days (24k a year) and I'm using the mini for most of these at the minute.
As such the steering geometry I have on the car is causing this:

I've rotated (fr/rr) to make them last longer, but my question is:
What set up do you have/recommend?
I've got adjustable bottom arms, poly bushes etc, so could of course just revert to Rover spec, but what do you all have/advise?
Looking at the car on it's winter wheels/tyres, I'm going to end up with the same on them only sooner, what with them being softer.

run your hand over the tread of the front tyres, do they feel feathered?

also check the camber, you dont want much for that kind of milage.

Also check the poly bushes, they have a habit of stretching and going baggy.

Could just be your tracking out. Get this checked by someone who knows what they are doing.

Looks like a mix of negative camber and toeing out.

Heavy duty tie bars will also help, then get the suspension checked/ set up

Cheers guys - thats exactly what it is, good amount of negative camber (set up when I used to live near Castle Coombe) for direct steering.
I have heavy duty tie rods fitted, adjustable cones (springs fitted) so have adjustability to hand, so to speak.
The poly bushes look/seem okay, and there's no feathering.
I guess it's a case of getting the car set back to standard height/negative camber then, before fitting the new tyres back on in spring.

That is just a stupid amount of camber and having alot of fun, my old mini had 1.6 degrees neg camber the tyres looked like that after 6k miles.

Thoes yokos are not durable also not very grippy in wet/damp and just fall apart.

Alot of commutes less camber all round by alot and should sort you out.

Are the front tyres feathered as asked above? Thatll tell you if its camber or imho most likely toe.

Sorry for the delay in replying - mad busy with work at the minute!
There's no sign of feathering on the 'worn' tyres. I'm getting the car set up with standard geometry (I'll dig out the figures and pass them on to the garage) when it get's MoT'd in December.
I'm just trying to limit the amount of use at the minute (I commute 120 miles a day).
Cheers all.

ETA - I'll be swapping these tyres over in the spring for the new ones I've got in the shed - are these any use to anyone (to finish off on the track or strip)?

at the moment it likes to slide also the compound is quite soft they always have those rolled rubber bits on them
