I not sure I understand the question , if you have hi lo's then you just screw in or out to desired hight !! |

You shouldnt need to machine anything, thats the idea of having adjustable hi los I seriously doubt it! |

The cones are taller, so the car might be a bit on the high side even with them on the lowest setting! I do not remember the amount though, sorry.

If i were you, set it normal mini height and then drive it for a while to let the cones and everything settle in, then set the ride height after a few days once you know it's all settled in. Else you might find the arch sitting on the tyre one day if you set it immediately. On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:

Also, are they budget hilos or genuine? My genuine ones should be able to sit really low, more than I'd ever need tbh, so it might be the budget ones that bottom out, but that's not a problem for most I don't think. On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:

I have both the old ripspeed ones (the real originals) and the proper minispares ones. Both have been made shorter, but only when used with red/yellow spot cones Edited by miniminor63 on 17th Nov, 2013. |

Did you cut that with an angle grinder? Speeding is like masturbating, everyone does it, but not all of us film it and put it on the internet

I just removed the locking nut and cut the thread down to get the car low enough. Thats exactly what i did. With the red dot cones there was not enough adjustment in the hi lo to get a sensible ride height Edited by dazibee on 17th Nov, 2013. |
